My favorite ice cream in the Hudson Valley!! Super creamy soft serve with all the traditional toppings — nothing overly fancy or complicated, if you’re looking for weird or out of the box flavors there are plenty of other places you can go. I love that this place is no frills and focuses on QUALITY over novelty. This place is an absolute hidden gem

I grew up having Happy Clown when it was in Bells Pond and was so excited to see they were coming to be almost literally next door to me. It was amazing then and remains amazing now. They have the absolute best icecream in the immediate, and surrounding area. I cannot recommend giving them a try enough. Super friendly people, very reasonable prices and great portions. I am so glad Happy Clown is back!!! I look forward to what other offerings are to come with the baked good.

So nice to have an ice cream shop right next to the playground in downtown Athens! The soft serve is delightful and nicely priced ($8 for 3 generous twist cones), and the owner friendly. You can eat inside or outside at the picnic tables.

Excellent soft ice cream! Simple flavors, so rich and creamy. By far the best soft ice cream we’ve ever had and a super nice family run business. Personal favorite is the vanilla black raspberry twist.

The soft serve is the best I've *ever* had; very smooth and creamy, and also very reasonably priced. This location was begging to be an ice cream shop- right next to the playground! Parking was easy, there's a small parking lot and plenty of on-street parking is available also. There's seating available inside in the air conditioning or there is a really nice outdoor seating area overlooking the playground. There are also views of the river right across the street. Overall it's a very picturesque location and a great way to make some childhood memories or catch up with friends. We'll definitely be back.

Nice local people who care about their customers. Indoor Air conditioned comfort,outside shady seating, with the playground right next door.Very cool spot to bring the children. Fresh premium ingredients and lots of interesting choices ,with more every day. I look forward to the freshed baked goodies on premises very soon. Ask about a custom ice cream cake for your family.They are delicious. P.S. I am a real person who enjoyed this new spot
